As a keen photographer, I am hoping to capture many  awe-inspiring shots of the African people and their landscape whilst journeying from Alexandria to Cape Town, however I also want to offer a sense of the day to day environments we are driving through.

Therefore, I have decided that we should stop each day at 11am, no matter where we are, to take a landscape photo of Melvin and his backdrop to illustrate what we are driving through.

By capturing a photo of Melvin each day at the same angle, I intend, upon returning to the UK, to create a video slideshow of all the photos, representing the changing landscapes of Africa.
